Secluded location in one of Phuket's best areas
The "Mangosteen" name was found, the location not yet. We were first looking for beach front land, but never insisted. The concept we had in mind did not necessarily need a beach front location. After more than 6 months search, we had seen more or less all of Phuket. Beaches, jungle, mountains.
Only one site was really fascinating: Large enough to build the dream, with beautiful 360 degree views and in a very nice area in the South of Phuket. The beach nearby, Nai Harn beach was our favourite anyway. Why? Because there are almost no hotels there, it is quiet and clean. Why should we change this? Instead, we decided to build one of Phuket’s first hillside resorts ever! Almost 10 years later, the concept has proven to be a huge success!
