Date: 21-24 November 2012 The Phuket International Sport Fishing 2012 is a three-day team fishing event with top team honors going to the team that tallies the most points during the tournament. The tournament also awards prizes to the team that catches the largest fish (by weight) in each eligible species. Registration will be on the 21 November from 18:00 onwards at the Tamarind Bar & Grill, Chalong. The final evening and prize-giving party will also be held on 24 November at the same venue. A special Release Trophy will be awarded to the team releasing the most billfish. |

Date: 25 November 2012 Southeast Asia's premier multi-sport event, the Laguna Phuket Triathlon, has been going on for almost two decades. The event comprises a 1.8km swim, 55km cycle and 12km run. Over the past seventeen years the popular race has attracted thousands of age group athletes as well as triathlon legends Mark Allen, Greg Welch, Craig Alexander, Paula Newby-Fraser, Michellie Jones and Chrissie Wellington, to name just a few. |

Date: February 2013 The last year the Phuket International Blues Rock Festival was a great success and raised 101,000 baht for local charities; the Ban Bangtao School and the Rotary Club of Patong Beach, were earmarked for the children's education fund. The 2013 event is expected to be even bigger and will see many different international bands flown in for the occasion as well as Phuket’s very own house bands and artists. Stay tuned! |

Date: March 2013 The Phuket International Boat Show (PIMEX) must be one of the most interesting marine showcases in Asia. Last year it displayed a collection of well-known yachts from prestigious shipyards around the world including Ferretti Yachts, Sunseeker, Princess Yachts and Fairline, with an estimated value of US$250 million over the four-day event. The 2013 PIMEX is again at the Royal Phuket Marina with its date to be announced. The event will cover over 2,000sqm of air-conditioned exhibition space as well as many of on-water display boats. |
