Mangosteen Boutique Resort & Spa Phuket provides daily Shuttle
Busses to Kata, Karon and Patong Beach and to Phuket Town
at a very low rate of 200.- Baht p. person p. way only. This convenient
service, combined with our free beach shuttle bus, covers most of your transportation
needs in Phuket. A "must do" is our Temple Tour to Chalong Temple and The new Big Buddha. Both are very beautiful and important attractions in Phuket. Enjoy the panoramic views from 380 meter heights and the 45 meter high Buddha, overlooking Phuket. The Buddha is visible from The Mangosteen Resort! A second tour offered by the resort is leading you to Promthep Cape Sunset Viewpoint and also includes the temple and Big Buddha. For individual transportation, please contact our Taxi counter. Alternative transportation: There are local taxis available everywhere in Phuket. Local buses are going to Phuket town (5 minutes to walk from the resort). Tuk Tuk's are another alternative, however we recommend them for a short ride only. Security and comfort are not up to standard but they are fun! 
Car rental: We offer a wide
range of cars for rent (self driven). All cars are fully insured and in
best condition. If you feel confident to drive in Thailand (on the left
side), this is a good way to get around Phuket. Between December and March,
we highly recommend to reserve your car in advance. Most car rentals are
sold out during this period. An international driving license is required.
